Interview with David Lindgren!

Hey everybody,

as for today's second post I brought you an interview by a friend, and about an amazing Swedish singer, David Lindgren. I don't know how much do you know about Swedish music, but I can honestly recommend you, it is amazing, I am totally into it. You must know ABBA, but I think they just opened the line, and now, there are such an amazing artist like Eric Saade, Loreen, or well, a bit less worldwide-known artist, David Lindrgen. Oh, and I must write down Alina Devecerski's name, she is my biggest Swedish favourite in music. But let me introduce you David now ;)

David Lindgren brought on real party atmosphere to the stage of Melodifestivalen two years following, but he isn't going to enter on the concest next year. His second album is called 'Ignite the beat' that has just debuted recently with 9 songs which makes you want to dance. Darin Zanyar collaborated at works of the album. The sexy daddy (who will celebrate his 31st birthday soon) will be seen with Eric Saade on a gig with 12 concerts from October, called 'Ladies' Night'.

YOUR SECOND ALBUM HAS JUST COME OUT. CAN YOU TELL US SOME WORDS ABOUT IT?

It is a pop album with songs that hopefully makes you wanna dance. I found my sound and I have 9 strong pop songs on this album.

YOU BROUGHT ON REAL PARTY ATMOSPHERE TO THE STAGE OF MELODIFESTIVALEN TWO YEARS FOLLOWING. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS. WHICH ONE OF THE TWO SONGS IS CLOSER TO YOUR HEART? WOULD YOU LIKE TO ENTER THE CONTEST NEXT YEAR?

I have to say Shout it out. That song changed my life. And now when I'm out playing almost everybody knows the word and sings with me. That's an unreal feeling.
I'm not going to enter next year.

WHICH PERFORMERS INSPIRE YOU?

All kinds of artists inspire me. Everything from Justin Timberlake to Bruce Dickinson (singer in Iron Maiden). I listen to all kinds of music. I get inspired by people who are genuine good at what they are doing.

HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A SINGER? YOUR FATHER IS A VICAR. HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT FOLLOWING HIS TRACKS?

No, I wanted to be a hockey player....... Hmm no, not really.

YOU USED TO SING IN MUSICALS LIKE HAIRSPRAY, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, MAMMA MIA!, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. DID YOU ENJOY THAT TIME? MAY YOUR FANS SEE YOU IN SUCH KIND OF PROJECTS IN THE FUTURE?

I loved it. I still feel like an musical artist and I'm most definitely going to do a musical again.

YOU'RE GOING ON A GIG WITH 12 CONCERTS FROM OCTOBER, CALLED LADIES NIGHT. MAINLY LADIES OVER 18 ARE SUPPOSED TO COME TO THE CONCERTS. ARE YOU PREPARING A NAUGHTY SURPRISE?

Hahaha. You never know....

FANS SOMETIMES SURPRISE THEIR FAVOURITES WITH REALLY STRANGE PRESENTS. WHAT WAS THE STRANGEST GIFT FROM A FAN YOU WERE EVER GIVEN?

Honestly I haven't got any strange things. It's a lot of teddy bears and paintings sometimes candy. :)

YOUR HUNGARIAN FANS ADORE YOU. WOULD YOU SEND SOME WORDS FOR THEM?

That makes me so glad to hear, I would love to come and sing some songs for you. For me it's unreal to have fans at all and non less outside Sweden. Thanks for all the support and I really hope you enjoy my new cd.

Love,
David Lindgren

Midnight City

Hey everyone,

I want to say sorry for our dissappearance, but life was running a bit fast lately. So, I wrote more than a week ago, it's been a lot of things happened. Firstly, I missed Stockholm very much (it might sounds crazy, but if I have homesick then it is for that Swedish city!), I finished my book ( A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin), and I started a new one (A Feast of Crows by George R. R. Martin) - and if you want, you can follow me on Goodreads as well. Let's see what I've done in the rest of the week: I was baking once, and we were baking (Fanni and me) twice, but I didn't take a photo, I didn't feel that it would be important.

On Sunday I was a bit scared and confused about my future and my life, but I was thinking, and then writing, so I felt myself great after all. I decided that I have to find a job, and I'd like to visit my friends in Stockholm in August or September, but then I went to the Employment Agency, and things changed. The woman helped me there, and she said I have a chance to go back to school and learn a profession. I was happy, because in Hungary easier go to school than find a job. I choose a pharmacy assistant as a proffession, and I am very interested about it! Then Berni said, that I could even go and work there with this profession. Hmm :) She made my day, but she didn't even know :)

But now, I am scared, and things are running across in my head. This woman told, that they have to call me about the aptitude test, what is on Friday, TOMORROW. Would they call me only one day before, or they wouldn't even call me? Did they get my application? I want this course, really. It is not the dream job of mine, but I have had plans with. I know, I always have at least a dozens of plans, but hey, I have already imagine it! Okay, I stop, I promise :)

My lovely tunnelbana
Do you remember Edward, in the first movie of The Twilight Saga? When he and Bella was sitting in a restaurant, and Bella wanted to know what is in the mind of people around them. He would probably say about me theese things right now: tunnelbanor (Shlm's subway), Stockholm, Sweden, music. :)))

I don't know when will Fanni write, but we are going to rollerskating tomorrow, and we are visiting Subotica on Saturday to shop some new things, and maybe eat a nice ice cream. If I remember well, there are a lots of confectionery, a really nice city, soooo :)

...so have a really nice rest of the week, guys ;)
xx

The language thing

I was thinking about the languages, and I was searching for more Facebook groups for young bloggers, then I found some Spanish groups. I didn't use my Spanish for more than 3 years, but I understood quite much. I was thinking about reading Spanish blogs, that would be great for my knowledge. So, I am searching for theese now :) If you know some, you can link under the post as comment, I'd happy to read. You can share some Portuguese ones as well ;)

I should search for some Swedish ones as well, but almost every Swedish blogger is only writing about nothing, outfits, that they have a perfect life in 3 sentences. I feel I couldn't learn from thoose. Do you know someone who is writing in Swedish? You should let me know! :)

It is one of our common favourite, Medina's new music :)

Beside languages, I am in a big reading-project: I am reading very much because I really enjoy. There is nothing else better than sitting in the riverside with my book, enjoying the sunshine and the springtime :) I also reading at home with my teddybear and with my cat.

Are you interested of a post titled 10 things about me? I have already done one on my blog, but if you are interested, I can translate, and maybe Fanni can write one as well.

Take care,
Cini
